Demolition

Sheds, garages, decks, slabs, and old asphalt taken down, hauled off, and the site graded so it's ready for what's next. Milford and Southeast Michigan.

Sound like your property?
  • "The garage is past saving."
  • "There's a cracked slab where the old shed was."
  • "The deck is rotting and needs to go."
  • "The property has junk structures the seller left behind."
What D1 does

Demolition, in plain terms.

Small-structure demolition is mostly logistics: take it down safely, sort what can be recycled, haul the rest, and leave a graded site instead of a hole. We do all four.

Built for Michigan ground

The hole is the job.

Anyone can knock down a shed. What most people end up living with is the crater afterward. We backfill, compact, and grade so the site drains and looks intentional.

Questions about demolition
Do I need a demolition permit?

Often, for structures. We'll tell you if your township requires one and what's involved.

Do you disconnect utilities?

Utilities to a structure must be disconnected by the utility or a licensed trade first. We'll walk you through it.

What about the concrete?

Broken out and hauled. Where it makes sense we can crush and reuse for base — ask.
